COLORADO SPRINGS — The University of Colorado track and field senior led the way here Friday in the first day of the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Open and Multi with a win in the men's weight throw.
Sconce picked up his second win of the season, throwing 18.95 meters (62-2.25) for the win. finished fifth in the event throwing 15.89 meters (52-1.75).
The CU men also had place 10 in both the 60-meter dash in 7.09 seconds and the long jump with a leap of 6.61 meters (21-8.25).
Colorado also had a large list of multis competing today in the pentathlon and heptathlon.
