Returning home didn't cure anything that ails the Colorado men's basketball team.
The Buffaloes started cold from the floor Tuesday night and never truly warmed up, suffering an ugly 69-59 defeat against the University of San Diego at the Coors Events Center.
CU (7-3) received a good look at why San Diego entered the week leading the nation in 3-point defensive field goal percentage, as the Buffs were held to a 3-for-18 mark from long range and finished just .259 (14-for-54) overall.
The Buffs led only briefly, taking a 19-18 advantage with 4 minutes, 17 seconds remaining in the first half.
