AUSTIN, Texas – Colorado track and field advanced both 4x400 relays through from prelims Friday afternoon in the Texas Relays as the women finished sixth and the men fifth.
The women's squad of Valerie Welch, Eriana Henderson, Tamia Badal and Abbey Glynn ran 3:45.69 to win the second heat of the prelims and advance to finals with the sixth-best time. The men's quartet of Ronald Sayles, Aaron McCoy, Ian Gilmore and Tyler Williams finished second in their heat in a time of 3:11.
