BOULDER—Junior Colby Pursell is one of 114 players nationally named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, the organization announced Thursday. The award exists to honor college football players who serve others, celebrate their positive impact on society and inspire greater service in the world.
Pursell has been extremely active in community service while at CU, participating in programs in conjunction with the Global Down Syndrom Foundation and also with Buff Hugs. Pursell has helped run clinics with the Global Down Syndrom Foundation over the summer the past few years, with the exception of this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
