BOULDER—Colorado women's basketball head coach JR Payne announced the addition of Matt Hower to the staff leading up to the Buffaloes' game against SMU on Friday.
Hower will fill the role of Director of Basketball Operations for the remainder of the season. He takes over for Jill Mahoney who is leaving the team to pursue a career in law enforcement.
"We are excited to have Matt joining our program," Payne commented. "He comes with a tremendous amount of basketball knowledge as well as a great set of organizational skills. I know that he will do a great job as our Director of Basketball Operations throughout the remainder of the season.
