BOULDER – The accolades continue for Colorado volleyball freshman Sterling Parker as she was named to the 2019 Volleyballmag.com Freshman All-America Team honorable mention.
Parker, who was also named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman squad earlier in the month, continues a run of three-straight Buffs on the list, joining Brynna DeLuzio who was a first team selection in 2017 and Anyse Smith who was a 2018 second team selection.
The freshman from Martinez, Calif., started every match for the Buffaloes at right side where she was second on the team with 253 kills, the fourth-most in the rally scoring era for a freshman in CU history.
