BOULDER – Basketball's Tyler Bey and volleyball's Sterling Parker were named the CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow, for the week of Nov. 25 – Dec. 1.
Bey, a junior from Las Vegas, Nev., recorded double-doubles in both games throughout the week, averaging 14.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.0 blocks per game. Bey helped the Buffs beat Clemson and win the MGM Resorts Main Event Tournament as he was named MVP. He also led the Buffs in the victory over Sacramento State, tallying 11 points and 17 rebounds.
