O'Loughlin Slips In Standings At NCAA Northwest Regional

Shoots a second round 75

PULLMAN —University of Colorado junior golfer Daniel O'Loughlin had his struggles here Tuesday in the NCAA Northwest (Pullman) Regional, shooting a 5-over par 75 that dropped him 36 spots in the standings and likely put him out of contention of advancing individually to the NCAA Finals later this month.

O'Loughlin owns a 68-75—143 scorecard after 36 holes of play on the Palouse Ridge Golf Club course, a 7,232-yard, par-70 layout. He had two birdies and nine pars opposite seven bogeys. Four of the latter came between holes 12 and 17, but he did bounce back to end his round with a birdie on the par-5 18th for the second straight day.
