BOULDER—Nine University of Colorado track and field and cross country athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.
Five women and four men picked up the honor. To be eligible the student-athletes had to have completed their first year in residence at CU and possess about a 3.5 grade point average. The All-District honorees will automatically be placed on the ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
The nine buffs that earned the honor are Hunter Appleton, Jace Aschbrenner, Colton Romig, Charlie Welch, Kaitlyn Barthell, Abbey Glynn, Grace Jenkins, Alisa Meraz-Fishbein and Elle Orie.
