SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Colorado center Quay Miller was selected as one of 10 candidates for the 2023 Lisa Leslie Award the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced on Friday.
The senior from Renton, Wash., was one of 20 players selected to the preseason watch list in October. Players can play their way onto and off the list at any point in the 2022-23 season. Miller and Washington State's Bella Murekatete are the lone Pac-12 representatives.
"For Quay to be on an elite list with those players speaks volumes to the amount of time, effort and energy she's poured into her craft," head coach JR Payne expressed.
