McMullen Claims Hurdles Title to Wrap Up Weekend

FORT COLLINS - The Colorado track & field program continued its busy weekend on Saturday, kicking the day off at the Jack Christiansen Invitational.

Avery McMullen took the victory in the 100-meter hurdles, running 13.84. McMullen also ran the 200-meters, running 24.88 for a second-place finish. Whitney Valenti also secured a victory for the Buffaloes, competing in the 1500-meters and clocking 4:32.68. In the 5k, Joelle Mcdoland ran 18:06.22 to place fourth.

In the shot put, Lauren Whyrick threw 13.48m to place fourth, while Meghan Whyrick threw 12.
