BOULDER — University of Colorado sophomore Dylan McDermott has been named the Pac-12 Conference's men's golfer of the week for the period of February 26-March 5, the league announced Tuesday.
McDermott finished second in Wyoming's Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif., last week, leading the Buffaloes to a third place team finish and marking the fourth time in seven tournaments he posted CU's best effort. He turned in a 73-69-69—211 scorecard for the event (5-under par), three off of the lead. Overall, he was second in both par-3's scoring (3-under) and in par-5 scoring (7-under) and had an eagle, 12 birdies and 32 pars against nine bogeys over the three rounds.
