Maja Wichhart-Donzo took home the pentathlon title at the CU Open with a personal-best 3,616 points Thursday at the Sklar Family Track at the CU Indoor Practice Facility.
Maja Wichhart-Donzo started the day by clocking a time of 8.97 in the 60-meter hurdles, which was the second best time in the field. She then placed first in the high jump, clearing a PR of 5 feet, 3.75/1.62 inches and adding 759 points. In the shot put, Wichhart-Donzo earned a mark 33-11.75/10.35 and added a PR time of 2:27.19 in the 800 meters to finish her day on a high note.
