The undefeated women's tennis team has been led by senior Nuria Ormeño Ruiz (women's tennis) while Max Luukko (men's ski) has lit it up on the slopes for the men's alpine ski team. Ormeño and Luukko have rightfully earned the honors for athlete of the week.
Nuria Ormeño Ruiz has had an outstanding start to her senior season. Last weekend in Boise, Idaho was no different as she went undefeated in singles play. Ormeño had a strong Sunday performance against Boise State's Hanna Kanteinwein, who dominated her matches on Friday (6-0, 6-0).
