When fans think back about the one position that most defines Colorado Football since the Buffs won the National Championship in 1990, many turn to linebacker. Part of that now legendary 1987 recruiting class that had just 12 players had two outside linebackers from Houston named Kanavis McGhee and Alfred Williams. Those two helped shape the next few decades where the Buffs turned out linebacker after linebacker.
