Legend High athlete commits to CU Buffs football

One of the most dynamic athletes in the state, Trustin Oliver had a tough time getting noticed by Colorado's previous football coaching staff.

New CU head coach Mel Tucker was impressed, however, and now Oliver is on his way to becoming a Buffalo.

On Wednesday, the Legend High School senior announced that he has given his verbal commitment to CU. He plans to sign his letter of intent on Feb. 6.

A receiver, defensive back and punt/kick returner at Legend, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Oliver is being projected for the secondary at CU. He has a three-star rating by both 247Sports.
