BOULDER – Eddie Lampkin, Jr., has signed a financial aid agreement to continue his education at the University of Colorado and join the men's basketball team for the 2023-24 season, head coach Tad Boyle announced on Tuesday.
Lampkin, a 6-foot-11-inch, 263-pound center from Houston, joins the Buffaloes after playing three seasons at TCU. With the extra COVID year from 2020-21, Lampkin has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
"We're excited to add a player of Eddie's caliber of talent, size and skill to our program," Boyle said. "Beyond his talent level, it's his energy and ability to be a great teammate that stood out when we recruited him.
