Keating Advances To Stage II Of LPGA Q-School

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – Former University of Colorado golfer Alexis Keating shot a 3-over par, 291 here during Stage I of LPGA Qualifying school and has advanced to Stage II on her journey to become a member of the LPGA.

Keating, a four-year letterwinner, who graduated this past May with a degree in communications finished the 72-hole tournament tied for 46th place, well ahead of the cut line. The top 90 and ties advanced to the second stage of qualifying.

Over the four-day tournament, Keating tallied 53 pars and 9 birdies against only 9 bogeys and 1 double-bogey.
