The Colorado Black Round Table (CBRT) and Joint Effort Community Sports hosted a virtual Black Male Summit, “A Sense of Where We Are” Saturday morning. Among the attendees were University of Colorado head football coach Karl Dorrell and former CU men’s basketball star Chauncey Billups with his brother Rodney Billups, who is the University of Denver’s head men’s basketball coach. Also joining was Denver East High School boy’s basketball coach Rudy Carey and Denver Broncos’ Director of Player Development, Ray Jackson.
The Colorado Black Round Table Executive Director John Bailey opened the sports portion of the panel by welcoming first-year CU head coach Dorrell to the summit and back to the state of Colorado.
