As I’m sure everyone has noticed, the Colorado Buffaloes don’t have a lot of depth along the defensive line. Behind Mustafa Johnson and Jalen Sami, there are true freshmen and first year junior college transfers that are playing real snaps. Mel Tucker has done a great job filling the gaps when possible, but the Buffs still need to find immediate contributors. They found one in Julius Coates.
Coates comes from a junior college powerhouse in East Mississippi Community College. The original home of Last Chance U, EMCC is a well-oiled machine that pumps out D1 talent.
