VICTORIA, Australia – Tayanna Jones wasted no time in starting her professional basketball career, signing with the Ballarat Miners of the NBL1 in Central Highlands of Victoria, Australia, earlier this month.
Jones, who just wrapped up her third season as a Buffalo, averaged 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in Boulder. She had her best season at CU in 2022-23, averaging career-highs in both points (5.0) and rebounds (4.2). Jones started 32 of CU's 43 games last season, including all three NCAA Tournament games. In her three years, she scored 340 points and totaled 244 rebounds.
