BOULDER - Senior Joey Young was named to the third-team of the CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large team Friday, continuing to rack up academic honors headed into his second senior season. Young is the sixth member of the ski team to earn Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA and the 67th in school history.
Young holds a cumulative 3.85 grade point average from the Leeds School of Business, majoring in both Accounting and Finance. He has been named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team three times, was named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll and earned the Male Senior Scholar Athlete Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at Colorado.
