Jim Kelleher, former Colorado Buff, remembers being Mr. Irrelevant in 1977 NFL draft

Even though it's almost six months away, Jim Kelleher said the special activities planned for the Oct. 15 homecoming at the University of Colorado are on his mind.

Besides the football game against Arizona State, Herb Orvis, a CU All-American player from 1969-71, will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. And there's a 40-year reunion of CU's 1976 Orange Bowl team that played Ohio State. Kelleher was CU's leading scorer in 1976 with 90 points and 15 touchdowns.

Kelleher expects the stories about Orvis and the 1976 team will continue well into the wee hours of the night all weekend.
