ZHANGJIAKOU, CHINA — Former Colorado Buffalo skier, Petra Hyncicova, skied in her third event at the XIV Olympic Winter Games when she competed in the Women's 10km Classic Thursday.
Hyncicova, representing the Czech Republic, finished 42nd out of a field of 98 skiers with a time of 31:28. Wearing bib 47, she got as high as 37th twice in the race, first at the 1.3 km mark and then again at 6.3 km.
Competing in her second Olympics, Hyncicova did not compete in the Women's 10km Classic in PyeongChang. She has competed nine times in the event on the World Cup level with her highest finish being a 39th place finish on Jan.
