SAN FRANSICO – Senior Mya Hollingshed and sophomore Jaylyn Sherrod each picked up Preseason All-Pac-12 honorable mentions with the unveiling of the conference's early-season honors on Tuesday.
The preseason accolades follow last season's postseason honors for both players. Hollingshed was an All-Pac-12 honorable mention, while Sherrod was named to the league's All-Freshman team.
"Congratulations to Mya and Jaylyn for being named Preseason All-Conference [honorable mention]," head coach JR Payne commented. "To be named among the elite of the Pac-12 Conference is quite an honor. I know that they have worked extremely hard to not only grow themselves but also their teammates, as well, and will be the first to be part of a great TEAM.
