ROCKVILLE, MD. — University of Colorado senior Kirsty Hodgkins has advanced to the match play portion of the U.S. Amateur after finishing stroke play tied for 48th after shooting a 149 (5-over, 73-76).
Hodgkins played quite well in the first round on August 3 and was tied for 24th at the end of the day at just 1-over at the 6,553-yard, par-72 Woodmont Country Club.
She started on the back nine and made par on every hole except for No. 13 and No. 17 where she recorded bogeys.
