Golfers Struggle In First Day Of Pac-12 Championships

SANTA ROSA, Calif. — The University of Colorado men's golf team had an occasional decent moment here Monday in the first two rounds of the 61st Annual Pac-12 Championships, but at the days' end, the Buffaloes found themselves in last place at the midway point of the tournament.

The Buffs own a 17-over par team score of 737, but trail three schools by a single stroke for ninth place. CU spent most of the day hovering between eight and 11th place, only dropping into last in the final moments of the second round.

No. 8 Arizona State is in the lead at the midway point, as the Sun Devils are in with a 25-under par 695 team total.
