BOULDER—A total of 14 Colorado Buffaloes Ski Team members were named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team, announced Wednesday by the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association.
The list includes the Buffs first five-time winner in Joey Young. Young returned to CU for his fifth season due to the 2020 season not counting toward a year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Young became the 14th skier to win the award four times.
Of the other 13 CU honorees, 10 earned the award for the second time and three first-year skiers picked up the honor.
