Former CU soccer star Madi Krauser to play professionally in France

Madi Krauser already has landed her first job.

Just two months removed from the graduation ceremony at the University of Colorado, the former Buffaloes soccer standout has signed a contract to play professionally in France. Krauser signed with ASJ Soyaux-Charente in France's top women's division.

A four-year starter for CU, Krauser accepted a move from the midfield to defense last year and still recorded four assists while winning the team's defensive MVP award. Krauser also earned second team All-Pac-12 Conference honors.

Krauser's career total of 16 assists ranks third all-time at CU.

Krauser will leave for Europe in late July is expected to play an outside back role.
