After going undrafted in late June, former University of Colorado basketball star Josh Scott got a taste of the NBA life earlier this week.
After the draft, Scott said there was really only one course of action he could take in furthering his professional hoops career.
"Pretty much we just waited for calls about summer league, and we did pretty quickly after the draft. There was just that option and then go from there," he said.
When Scott got the call from the Denver Nuggets, one of a number of teams he worked out with prior to the draft, the Monument native didn't hesitate to join the ranks of the team he cheered for growing up.
