BOULDER — Former Colorado star and current New England Patriots tackle Nate Solder is now in line to win his third Super Bowl ring, adding to the hardware he picked up in 2014 and 2016.
If the Patriots defeat Philadelphia in Super Bowl LII, Solder will become the fourth Buff to win three rings, joining Tom Ashworth and Ted Johnson (Patriots) and Cliff Branch (Raiders).
Overall, 35 different Buffs have accounted for 52 Super Bowl rings over the years.
