FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – Senior S Nick Fisher has been named a nominee for the Wuerffel Trophy, presented to the Football Bowl Subdivision player who best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement.
Fisher is working towards a degree in Strategic Relations from the College of Media, Communication and Information (CMCI) at Colorado while also pursuing minors in both Leadership Studies and Ethnic Studies. A two-time Athletic Department honor roll nominee, he was also an honorable mention selection for the Academic All-Colorado team from the Colorado Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
On the field, he has played in 32 games with 18 starts for the Buffs.
