FAIRBANKS, Alaska—The final day of racing in Alaska was canceled Sunday as temperatures dipped down into the negatives here at Birch Hill Ski Area.

Despite that, the Colorado Buffaloes Ski Team moved up one spot to finish second in the official meet standings for the RMISA Invitational.

When one day of racing is canceled, for team standings the other day of racing is doubled to ensure an equally-weighted score between the alpine and Nordic portions of the meet. The Buffs, who Saturday moved up from fifth to third, thus officially finish second with 584 points, 13 ahead of Denver's total of 571.
