Disruptive Texas cornerback pledges to 2022 recruiting class

The Texas Longhorns are down right now. Just like in the early 1990s, the Colorado Buffaloes have taken of a struggling flagship program to nab some talent in the DFW area. In 2017, players like KD Nixon and Laviska Shenault came to the Buffs by way of Darrin Chiaverini and Dallas/Fort Worth. Now, they continue to mine that area for the next generation of talent, and one of the gems unearthed in 2021 was Keyshon Mills.

Mills is from Little Elm, Texas, a suburb outside the Dallas area. His high school isn’t the best in the region, with a subpar 2-8 record last year.
