There were numerous question marks surrounding the future of Deleon Brown and they have now been partially answered. On Thursday afternoon, Pat Rooney broke the news that Brown will not return to the Colorado Buffaloes.
Brown’s departure was likely, considering what transpired in the past few months. First, Brown struggled from the start of the season and it made more sense for Tad Boyle to play younger guys with more potential. He played just 9 games before he was ruled academically ineligible for the Spring semester. After the season ended, he entered the transfer portal — it didn’t mean his departure was concrete, but it seemed to confirm rumors.
