Colorado wrapped up a disheartening 2025 campaign with a 24-14 loss to Kansas State on Saturday on the road. After a breakthrough 9-4 season a year ago, the Buffaloes bottomed out completely.
The loss to Kansas State was the fifth in a row to finish the season at 3-9. After a 2-2 start, Colorado lost eight of its last nine games and finished the season next-to-last in the Big 12 standings ahead of only winless Oklahoma State.
A step back was always expected in 2025, but nobody predicted that the Buffs would fall this far.
