All the sweat Dallas Walton poured onto the comeback trail has paid off in a big way.
Walton, the 7-footer from Arvada West who returned to the court this season after missing more than 18 months with back-to-back knee injuries, announced late Tuesday night that he has verbally committed to play basketball at the University of Colorado.
"Truly blessed through this whole process," Walton wrote in an Instagram post. "From the comeback from injuries to the countless hours spent trying to get to this point. Well I have more hours of work to put in because I have committed to continue my academic and basketball career at the University of Colorado.
