The Colorado Buffaloes could be adding some much-needed muscle to its roster.

CU recently got a verbal commitment from Kai Volcy, a 6-foot-4 center from New Jersey.

Rich Leary, Volcy's coach with the New Jersey Demons club team, posted her commitment on Twitter last week.

Volcy graduated from the Groton School, in Groton, Mass., in 2017. She then played this past year at the Hun School, a prep school in Princeton, N.J.

At Hun, Volcy averaged 12.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.3 blocks in 20 games.

Volcy would become the third member of CU's 2018 recruiting class, joining guard Cameron Swartz of Marietta, Ga.
