The Colorado volleyball team already has added some reinforcements for the 2020 campaign.
On Wednesday, head coach Jesse Mahoney announced that Leah Clayton, a decorated outside hitter the past two seasons at East Tennessee State, is transferring to Colorado and will join the Buffaloes for the 2019 season.
Due to NCAA rules, Clayton will have to sit out a season but has one more season of eligibility remaining for the 2020 season.
Clayton was named to the All-Southeast Region team in 2018 by the American Volleyball Coaches Association and also was named the Player of the Year in the Southern Conference.
