CU Student-Athletes Enjoy Another Solid Semester

BOULDER — Data compiled from the recently completed spring semester at the University of Colorado revealed that the school’s 336 student-athletes recorded the second highest grade point average for a spring term, one of many accomplishments overall by those comprising CU’s 17 intercollegiate athletic programs.

The average GPA for the spring was 2.901, second only to a 2.935 number that was posted back in the spring of 2012. The cumulative grade point was an even healthier 2.930, third-highest on record (and just .001 behind the next-best mark of 2.931 set last fall).

All nine women’s teams (indoor and outdoor track are combined) recorded semester GPA’s higher than 3.
