The 2016-17 nonconference schedule for the Colorado men's basketball team is starting to round into shape.
This week CU finalized plans to bring Wofford to the Coors Events Center, adding to a ledger of teams that already appears as if it will be improved over the Buffs' solid-but-not-spectacular 2015-16 nonconference slate.
Wofford, based in Spartansburg, S.C., went 15-17 last season but has built a solid mid-major reputation under veteran coach Mike Young. In 2015, the Terriers set a school record by going 28-7 while winning the Southern Conference regular season and tournament championships.
