Colorado's quarterback room is about to get more crowded.
On Thursday, 247Sports reported that Sheriron Jones is leaving Tennessee and intends to transfer to CU.
Ryan Robinson, senior associate athletic director for communications at Tennessee, confirmed to Buffzone.com that Jones is transferring. Robinson could not say whether Jones is coming to Boulder, however.
Jones did not respond to requests for an interview. He did, however, tweet "Thank you #VolNation" earlier on Thursday.
The 6-foot-2, 208-pound Jones redshirted this past season as a true freshman with the Volunteers. He will have to sit out the 2016 season and then have three years of eligibility remaining.
