As often is the case with international recruits, incoming Colorado basketball freshman Jakub Dombek is fighting through bureaucratic red tape in his quest to reach the Flatirons.
Signed in April to join coach Tad Boyle's Buffaloes program, the 6-foot-10 forward out of the Czech Republic still has not arrived in Boulder, with Boyle saying only "hopefully ASAP" as to when Dombek finally will set foot on campus.
Like last year, when the Buffs patiently awaited the arrival of Serbian guard Lazar Nikolic, Dombek already has missed an opportunity to get work out with his new teammates and get acquainted with his new home over the past few months.
