CU Buffs routed by UCLA in regular season finale

LOS ANGELES - Colorado's disappointing regular season in women's basketball came to a close on Sunday with an 84-50 loss to No. 25 UCLA at Pauley Pavilion.

The Buffaloes (12-17, 2-16 Pac-12) finished last in the Pac-12 and matched the 2015-16 squad for the worst conference record in program history. The 12th-seeded Buffs will face fifth-seeded Arizona State in the Pac-12 Tournament on Thursday.

Short-handed once again, playing without starting forward Peanut Tuitele (concussion), the Buffs trailed by 11 after the first quarter and never really threatened the Bruins (19-11, 12-6), who clinched the No. 4 seed for the Pac-12 Tournament.
