Skier Petter Reistad and lacrosse player Sarah Brown were named the University of Colorado's recipients of the Pac-12 Tom Hansen Conference Medal for the 2017-18 school year.
The honor his given to two athletes from each member school, one male and one woman, who exhibit "the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership."
Reistad was a six-time All-American for the Buffaloes who finished second at the 2018 NCAA finals in the Nordic 10K classic. The native of Norway posted a 3.961 GPA as a finance major.
Brown was the defensive leader for a CU women's lacrosse team that posted the first NCAA Tournament victory in the program's five-year history.
