Coming off a disappointing season, the Colorado football team opened spring practice on Friday with a renewed hunger.
Not all of that hunger is the product of the Buffaloes going from first in the Pac-12 South in 2016 to last a year ago, however.
"There's some new guys out there," head coach Mike MacIntyre said. "A lot of guys competing for jobs, so that creates a lot of hunger. I definitely felt they had a sense of urgency, they wanted to do it right, they're helping each other. There was a lot of good chatter between each group of guys.
