Whenever Colorado Buffaloes football and basketball contests are back on the air, the calls will originate from familiar homes.
On Wednesday, the university announced a three-year extension with iHeartMedia Denver radio stations, keeping Buffs football and men’s basketball games on KOA through the 2022-23 school year. Football and men’s basketball games will continue to air on KOA (850 AM and 94.1 FM), with women’s basketball games shifting to KHOW 630 AM.
In the event of a broadcasting conflict on KOA with Denver Broncos or Colorado Rockies games, the Buffs will now shift to KHOW 630 AM instead of 760 AM, which has been the case in recent seasons.
