Colorado sophomore Anne Siri Lervik on Monday earned her first RMISA Skier of the Week for women's Nordic honor.
Lervik is the eighth different Buff to earn the accolade this year. That matches the 2011 season for the most the Buffs have had in one season since the RMISA started announcing skiers of the week back in 2005.
Lervik was CU's top scorer on the women's Nordic team at the DU Invite. She was fourth in Saturday's 5K freestyle skate and placed third in Sunday's 5K classic. That was her second podium finish of the year and she now has finished fifth or better in six consecutive races.
