BOULDER — The University of Colorado has added three more games to its future football schedules, including the renewal of a series with a longtime rival, and also swapped years for two opponents in Boulder in the years 2019 and 2020.
The Buffaloes and Kansas State have agreed to a home-and-home series later next decade, as the Wildcats will travel to Boulder on Sept. 18, 2027, with CU returning the game in Manhattan on Sept. 16, 2028. Former conference rivals dating back to 1948 when Colorado joined the then-Big 7 Conference, the schools played 66 games against one another, with CU leading the series, 45-20-1.
