BOULDER – Colorado Lacrosse was taken down 12-5 by No. 21-ranked Michigan here Friday afternoon as the Buffs still look to record their first win of the season.
The Buffaloes (0-4) took more total shots, had more ground balls and won more draws than the Wolverines (4-3), but were unable to capitalize on several scoring opportunities which still proves to be an issue for CU.
"I think there's parts of the gameplan that we executed well and there's parts that we didn't, and I think they gave up. And at the end we all gave up a little bit," head coach Ann Elliott Whidden said after the loss.
